Quantification of amino acids
Amino acids are small organic molecules, containing an amino group (-NH2) and a carboxylic groups (-COOH), that serve as the fundamental building blocks of proteins. There are 20 standard amino acids commonly found in proteins, enabling the vast diversity of protein structures and functions observed in biology. Our validated GC-MS based analysis enables the accurate quantification of free amino acids in plasma.
